ERwin for DBAs

ERwin for DBAs teaches how basic database objects are created, defined, and maintained. It explores the relationships between database objects, and focuses on the core function skills needed to work with databases. The DBMS-specific one-day courses (offered for Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and Ingres) cover CAs ERwin support for fundamental database objects for the target database, and include an introduction to reverse and forward engineering, UDPs, and complete compare functionality of ERwin data modeling tools. ERwin for DBAs is available only as an instructor-led training class, held on-site at client locations.

Dimensional Modeling Mentoring

Dimensional Modeling Mentoring provides a solid foundation for developing data marts and data warehouses with CA's ERwin. The course includes physical and logical modeling of data marts, creating a data warehouse architecture, tracking data sources, developing data movement rules, reporting, and more. It also introduces concepts from Design Layer Architecture and demonstrates a step-by-step approach to data warehouse design. Dimensional Modeling Mentoring is available only as personalized mentoring-format training, held on-site at client locations.
